Effective Business Simulation

I am trying to find a decent business simulation that I can use of a group of 6 - 12 people. I'm running a 2 day programme for very bright individuals with day one being about Finances for non-financial people and general business nouse. Day two is to put all the learning in practice with some sort of simulation.
Having looked online, I'm nervous about the quality of what I've seen and would much prefer to use something that is recommended by somebody who has used it for real..
Have any of you used anything similar that you would recommend?
I would really appreciate any help or input with this as I am currently at a dead end. Many, many thanks in advance,

do you need a simulation ?
Depending on your overall objective you may be better suited to give them a specific task to plan/explore in a business like way....for instance
to arrange a company conference for y people for a budget of x
or to arrange a fundraiser for a charity with a max outlay of y aiming to generate x.
or
the CEO has decided that (s)he wants to take 25 top executives to Sandals in Trinidad for a team bonding week....what is it going to cost?

Northgate Training offer some business simulations which are bought as packages. I have used some of their materials in the past and found them to be useful, incorporated with other learning.
I have also worked with a training provider who tailors business simulations and can even design them specifically to suit your company. If you are unable to find something suitable and would consider this as an option I would happily recommend the provider I worked with and provide his details - just get in touch.
