Active or passive?
you could ask the question here and be swamped by hundreds of people like me plying their wares...
or you could look on trainerbase/learningpractitioners.org.uk where you can serach by geography, subject, sector, inside leg measurement etc
or you could find one you like and ask them for recommendations
I hope this helps

Hi Mark,
You could use the Institute of IT Training (IITT), as a starting point:
http://www.thetrainingprofessionalnetwork.com
LinkedIn also has a few groups that most freelancers that I am aware of are members of:
Trainer Talk - http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=1783222&goback=.hom
Learning Practitioners Association - http://www.linkedin.com/groups?home=&gid=89642&trk=anet_ug_hm&goback=.ho...
Solo/Lone Trainer - http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=123608&trk=myg_ugrp_ovr
There is a blog site set up by Mike Morrison of RapidBI for Freelancer, whihc could also be a source:
http://learningprofessionals.co.uk/
Hope this helps

Freelance Trainers
Hi Mark
What training do you need? Soft skills, management development, IT training? I agree with Russ - you will probably be swamped by people like us offering our service! Most of us have lots of contacts, though, so we should know someone who would be a perfect fit for you. Happy to help if I can if you get in touch.
Jenny
Thanks all
