...since I last posted. I have been on the go, but thankfully there may be a period of calm up ahead. Right now though, I can't afford to do anything that isn't productive. I'll make an exception for busting a few moves on the dancefloor at the Learning Awards last week. It was good to see the hoi polloi of the training industry let their hair down. I know who the prospective entrants for Strictly Come Dancing are now. Congrats to all the winners (of the Learning Awards, not SCD), and all the entrants in fact. Getting to the shortlist at all is good recognition.

So, two days to go until Learning Technologies. To those already going, see you there (stand 112) and to those unable to attend for whatever reason, see our front page blog pane (bottom right) for an automatically
pulled together melange of tweets and posts live from the event.

...to Learning Technologies. Did I mention that last time? Yes I did. Sorry for the repetition but it has to be done. The event is one of the biggest fixtures in the L&D calendar and the more who attend the better. We're at stand 112 and you can also come to the tweet-ups we'll be holding daily in the social learning cafe. You know it makes sense. Ok, that's enough. I may mention it next week too, but only a one-liner.

...everyone feeling? Good festive period? For those lucky enough to have a few days off to spend time with loved ones I hope you had a wonderful break, and for those who didn't, I hope that time comes soon enough for you. Tuesday, I'm not going to lie, was tough to get into the swing of things, but my brain power has been increasing exponentially throughout the week.

...frighteningly, it's 12 December already. This must mean that we're nearing that odd hinterland here at TrainingZone where the last bulletin of the year is going out soon, and the rest of the year is devoted to a schizophrenic mix of reflection and planning. What did we do well this year? What were the most popular articles? What can we do better? What can we do that we've not done before? Let's take a few chances. Infographics? they're cool, let's do more of those. But useful ones.
