How ironic that 70 years ago it was our resilient defence that saw us through, but this year our defensive radar was firmly switched off... Could it be something to do with super-inflated salaries = no sense of moral duty = heart not really in the fight? Could we draw parallels with the state of the economy and investment bankers' bonuses?

I can't believe it's been over a week since TZ Live 2010. I've been lucky enough to have had a week's 'holiday' this week (that is to say, lots of DIY round the house. Joy!), so I have had plenty of time, whilst painting my kitchen ceiling wishing I was out in the sun, to ponder last week's event. This got me thinking - what could next year's TZ Live look like? What else would make it even better? What could people have done without, and what would they like to see again next year? Did people feel it was value for money, overpriced or cheap at half the price?

Day one of TZ Live is over, and what a fantastic day! So now its time to report in on how the day has gone. I’m going to focus on some of the key themes and messages that came through during the course of the day, so here goes, in no particular order…
