The way mobile training enhances the learning effect

default-16x9

Online training has made it possible for people to improve their communication skills wherever and whenever for a few years now. But within online training, a new development brings even more independency: mobile training. Statistics show that training happens more and more continuously. This enhances the effect.

Tuesday training day

Our clients’ employees practice their communication and commercial skills online unlimitedly using video role play, and they decide on what day and at what time they do so. Based on the statistics, we see that Tuesday is the most popular day to train. During the week the activity decreases, and it’s the lowest in the weekends, as can be expected.

Training in the evening

The training moments can be analysed on a daily level as well. Then, we see that the beginning of the work day and around lunchtime are popular times to practice:

The last years we see an increase of the use of mobile training, on tablets and mobile phones, in our app. Within the app you have even more freedom in choosing the time to train, because you carry a phone with you more often than a computer. Below we see that mobile devices are, indeed, used relatively more during the afternoon and evening.

Mobile training during the week

When we analyse the mobile training on a weekly level, things get really interesting. The distribution appears very different from what was described above: The training moments are distrbuted more regularly throughout the week. Even on the weekend, the number of exercises is higher, even though it is still lower compared to weekdays. Moreover, the weekday does not influence the training anymore: the preference for Tuesday has disappeared. This is important for the training effect: someone who practices on different days will experience a better effect than someone who concentrates it on one day. This way, mobile training ensures an enhanced learning effect in online training!
