Problems sending email in Outlook XP

default-16x9

Ever since I installed Office Xp, I've had problems sending mail. If I want to compose and send an email message I have to go online 1st. If I am offline and compose an email message the moment i clcikt eg send button in the message window i get a send/receive error. I never had to do this in Outlook 2000. Does anyone know if there is a method of composing an email message and clicking the send button, without a Send/Receive error occuring.

  1. Try this – hope it helps
You will need to check the account setup for the email account you are sending from. Once you have selected connect via network you will find that it will just store the message until you actually go online and then you can use the send/receive button to perform the transfers. Hope this helps.
