How to Overcome the Challenges of Moving your Training Online
In today’s global business environment, organisations and government bodies have no choice but to seek new ways to optimise their budgets, respond nimbly to change and improve productivity. For trainers, this often translates to reaching trainees in more places, more often – but without additional budget.

Barry Wilding-Webb, Senior Workforce Development Advisor at Devon County Council will discuss how Devon County Council successfully moved their training online and how they:

  • Overcame problems of training an audience who are not tech savvy!
  • Adapted their ‘training’ style for an online audience
  • Trained more people and overcame the geographical challenges
  • Saved £5,000 by moving their training online

Winning Intelligence
What are the factors that make someone a winner? This is a question that Yehuda Shinar asked numerous people, and found that no one had a definitive answer. Characteristics like intelligence and determination are praiseworthy and desirable, but are not necessarily essential for someone to be a winner.

Shinar spent 15 years scientifically analysing the attributes of a large number of consistently good deliverers, and formulated "The winning Model". In this session, he will examine some of the aspects of this model, and explore how the art of winning can be learned.
