The IITT has announced the launch of a new ‘Performance through Learning’ initiative that provides corporate training departments with a framework to demonstrate their impact on business performance.

The initiative will begin with a free webinar entitled ‘Performance through Learning’ which will explore how an internal training department can demonstrate its impact on business performance. The webinar takes place on 30th March, to register visit: http://bit.ly/fg2hB6.

Later in the year the IITT plan to release a white paper which provides practical advice and guidance for corporate training teams. The ‘Performance through Learning’ initiative will also feature at the IITT National Conference & Exhibition which takes place on 13-14 September at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham.

IITT, Managing Director, Edmund Monk believes that internal training teams need to become more focused on business performance and effectiveness if they are to maximise the contribution they can make to the organisation. He said: “There has never been a more critical time for Learning & Development teams to make a significant contribution to the organisation’s ability to work smarter. Over the next 12 months we want to help more training departments get the recognition they deserve.”
