Train the trainer maestro Mike Morrison has just agreed to lead a CIPD Certificate in Training Practice (CITP) course for one time only for DPG in London.

Mike, well known in the leadership and management training community for his regular contributions to professional media and prolific blogging, will front the course at London Kensington on 14th October.

“DPG has a reputation as the leading provider of CIPD approved CITP courses in the UK and I’m delighted they asked me to step up to the plate to lead this special one-off course for them.

“It comes at a time when businesses and organisations really need to be pushing forward to get out of recession and into positive, sustainable growth. The obvious and cost-effective way to do that is have trainers, managers and leaders who inspire and can train colleagues to create a cutting edge in their organisation.”

DPG has now supported over 2500 trainers in developing their knowledge of the theory and practice of being a highly effective trainer to earn the CIPD’s Certificate in Training Practice qualification.

Robert Wagner, DPG plc’s managing director, explained why Mike Morrison is being invited to deliver the London CITP course, “We all know that many employers across the public and private sectors have gone through, or are planning a restructure and we have seen a huge spike in demand for our CITP courses because trainers, managers and business leaders want to be in a solid position to stay with their organisations and help take them forward.

“To meet this demand we have scheduled extra courses in London, Leeds and Nottingham and now have the best people in place to deliver them. Mike is a natural choice for DPG’s London course leader on 14th October as he has ‘walked the talk’ when it comes to training and developing people to become trainers and business leaders. We know he will motivate and inspire those who sign-up for this one-off course.”

The CITP course is an eight month fast track programme of just nine workshops with Mike and fellow high calibre tutors offering face-to-face and ongoing support throughout the programme. It is also supported by flexible learning resources and a schedule which avoids evening and weekend sessions to minimise the impact on a delegate’s personal life.
