  1. Power Point
    Rick,

Power Point is a piece of Microsoft software used to deliver slide driven presentations. It comes as a part of the Microsoft Office suite along with Word (word processing), Excel(spread sheet) and in most cases Access (database). If your computer didn’t come with Microsoft office then you would need to contact your local computer software seller or even major electrical store who should be able to give you a demonstration- it may be easier to ask a colleague or friend! There are other products out there, and I’m sure other members will be able to give you opinions as appropriate.

  2. Download the PowerPoint viewer free from Microsoft
    Hi Rick

If you only want to view PowerPoint files rather than editing them, you can download a free viewer from the Microsoft site. Just go to http://www.microsoft.com and enter PowerPoint Viewer in the search box. You should be given a set of links which will help you find the PowerPoint viewer. I won’t put the current download address in here, as Microsoft have a habit of moving things around on their website, so the links get out of date!

    Good luck
