Pearson VUE Selected by Citrix as Exclusive Test Delivery Partner

BLOOMINGTON, Minn., June 18, 2009 — Pearson VUE, the computer-based testing business of Pearson, announced today that Citrix Systems, Inc. has selected the company as its exclusive delivery provider of Citrix certification exams. With the transition, Pearson VUE and Citrix plan to work more closely together to focus on key areas such as exam security and marketing programs that enhance the integrity and value of Citrix certifications. This will also allow Citrix to increase the scalability and coverage of its certification programs, and improve operational efficiencies.
Pearson VUE to Deliver New ISEB ITIL® version 3 exam

PEARSON VUE has been chosen by the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) to deliver its new IT infrastructure Library (ITIL®) Version 3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management. The new test will be delivered in English within the Pearson VUE Authorised Test Centre network worldwide.

Pearson VUE to launch new computer-based ISEB exam
PEARSON VUE has announced that it will be the first testing company to offer the new Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing for the British Computer Society (BCS).
From Thursday 12 February, Pearson VUE will be delivering this exam from its extensive network of test centres in 162 countries. The test has been made available via a computer-based platform for the first time, after the BCS received requests from candidates.

The Law National Admissions (LNAT) Consortium have renewed their exclusive contract with Pearson VUE to deliver the National Admissions Test for Law via their UK network of computer testing centres. Pearson VUE has won the contract to deliver the tests until 2011, with the option to renew until 2013.
The LNAT admissions test, launched in 2005 by a consortium of universities, helps law faculties make fairer choices among the many highly-qualified applicants who want to join their undergraduate law programmes.

Sage HR and Payroll software division appoints new general manager
The Sage HR and Payroll software division has appointed Jayne Archbold as General Manager. This follows the acquisitions of former competitor organisations, Snowdrop Systems and KCS.

CIPD purchases integrated HR and Payroll software from Snowdrop
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the professional body for those involved in the management and development of people, has recently purchased integrated HR and Payroll software from solutions and services provider, Snowdrop, to enhance its management of employee data and streamline HR processes.
The CIPD will be implementing a seven user system across the range of Snowdrop modules: Spring (recruitment); Evergreen (personnel records management); Orchard (Payroll); Fountain (training administration) and U-Access (online access for line managers and employees).
