...the end (but actually the beginning) is near...

The due date of my first child is tomorrow. It could happen tomorrow, but it's more likely to be next week some time. 'The first one is usually late', they say. I guess you can only be prepared to a certain degree. Do the antenatal classes, read the books, watch 'One born every minute'. 'There's no right way to raise a child', they say. Obviously that's not meant literally, but I understand the sentiment. Much of the process and the experience, you just have to work out for yourself. Everyone's different, and that includes babies.

But despite the unlikely prospect of anything happening any time soon, I thought I'd post one last blog entry in case the journey does begin tomorrow. And whenever it happens, TrainingZone is being left in the capable and experienced hands of last year's guest editor, Martin Couzins. So, a smooth transition is assured.
