How out of touch are our politicians………

default-16x9

I see that Gerald Kaufman is upset to discover that civil servants at Number 10 don't give out their real names when answering letters on behalf of the PM.......John Bercow is similarly surprised.  Security is cited as the reason and you have to agree that it does make sense.

It shows that these guys never travel on trains where the Revenue Protection staff all wear badges with pseudonyms in order to protect them from being hunted down if they issue a penalty fare....or worse.

Neither do any of them ever receive calls from offshore call centres where you can't help but wonder whether the folk from Mumbai are really all called Kevin and Jean.  I'd love to know what safety reasonis behind that little subterfuge.

What has this got to do with training? Well, if you deliver customer service training or any training related to keeping safe, personal security or even brand ambassadorship you'll be asked about names and pseudonyms.
