Screen-sharing Tips

default-16x9

I was having a discussion with a group today about delivering presentations on a laptop. Of the many tips that we came up with, here's two...

  • Use Presenter View in PowerPoint 2007 to display your speaker notes on one computer (your laptop, for example), while the audience views the full-screen  presentation on a different monitor (or large screen via a projector)
  • If you are sharing your screen (for example showing a spreadsheet to a group), close Outlook before you start screen sharing - or at least disable Outlook Desktop Alerts - unless you want your audience to see your personal emails!
Any more tips?
