Career Development Programme Names

default-16x9

We have developed a new Career Development Framework and are working on 3 Development Programmes to move through people through that framework. However, we don't want to keep using CDF and CDP as anograms or titles for the programme. We'd also like to move away for Level 1, 2, 3 etc.

We're struggling to come up with some creative ideas in terms of names for the Framework, the overarching programme and each "level". Does anyone have any ideas or examples of things they have used in the past?

Thanks

  1. What are the benefits of the course?

    Hi Sammy

What does each level do for the people i.e. the benefits.   And what topics will each level cover?

This for me would influence what the title of each level would be.

However be creative and use titles that inspire.  For example, the subtle differences between

"How to manage"  or "How to be a better manager" or "becoming an amazing manager"

Hope this helps and i'm sure the community will have lots of better ideas

  2. A few ideas…

…. these are based on titles my Org has used in the past (but not now). First;  Stepping Stones (level 1, 2, 3). Or; Initiate, Integrate and Activate (we are still using Activate but it's not subject to copyright).

    Hope that helps.

  3. Naming them after leaders

How about naming the programmes after some inspirational leaders?

i.e. Ernest Shackleton, Edward Jenner and Helen McArthur are all programme names used by a firm I used to work for.
