Innovative ideas for a Leadership Programme

default-16x9

I'm looking for innovate and creative ideas to inject into a leadership programme. Something a little different from the usual classroom training.

Any ideas, no matter how far out of the box, are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

  1. Make the classroom element
Make the classroom element the smallest part of it, use that element as a hook to start people’s learning. Make it more experiential by asking the attendees to go out and carry out tasks and report how they are getting on through a social tool, either a Whats App group or MS Teams where people can share experiences. Post videos and supportive resources to keep the conversation going and people interested.
Use 21st century tools and techniques to make the programme engaging. Hope that helps.

  2. The most exciting, fun,
The most exciting, fun, engaging and successful leadership training I delivered was aboard the USS North Carolina, a land locked battle ship in Wilmington. Team went around the ship in a sequence carrying out facilitated experiential tasks as they went and de-briefing their learning after each one. If you can find an unusual venue or location take your leadership training outside. If this is not a possibility then make part of every section experiential where people feel the aspect of leadership as well as hear it and see it.
