Has anybody had experience doing virtual online training with skype?
Is it possible to do virtual online training with skype?
Please let me know if you have had any experience using skype for training and how you feel it went. If you think it is a bad idea let me know why you think so.

yes and no
I've delivered training over the telephone on conference calls and I do 1:1 coaching on Skype so I can see no reason why you shouldn't use it…..there are also free webinar facilities such as wiziq which might give you added functionality

You can share your power point with attendees and they can use Head set to hear you speak as well as ask questions.

Your answer has actually given me some ideas. What's your experience of using it? How well did it go? And would you use it again or just because it is mostly a free and available tool.

It works well if your internet bandwidth can support it. Suitable for online training delivery! Used it once for product training and the facilitator presented from another country.
