default-16x9

If you're 'struggling with evaluation and ROI?', you're clearly not alone - the topic has attracted over 580 members and plenty of comments so far (thanks to all those who've e-mailed comments to the editor so far - we'll be looking at bringing them together in one place very soon!).

We're now able to release more details of how the new specialist area we plan to dedicate to the topic of evaluation will work.

EvaluationZone will offer a unique online development programme for anyone looking to increase their practical knowledge of how to use evalution approaches in the workplace.

EvaluationZone brings together expert opinion and guidance together with advice and support from other members to help you crack the evaluation problem. The programme will include:

  • Practical, targeted exercises, backed up with expert and member support
  • Monthly hosted workshop sessions
  • Dedicated discussion forums, directed exclusively at evaluation and Return on Investment issues
  • Quarterly specialist newswires
  • Archived best practice studies
  • Features on specialist topics (for example, ROI for soft skills training)
  • Comprehensive reading list
  • Evaluation specialist Paul Kearns will be bringing his practical tips, knowledge and expertise to EvaluationZone, guiding members through the maze of infomation, theories and techniques on offer. You'll be able to log on on a monthly basis for workshop sessions with Paul, which will be backed up with daily and weekly discussion forum sessions. Paul will also be putting together recommended reading, and guiding members through the range of practical exercises on the site.

About Paul Kearns: Having worked in the HR and Training field since 1978 in engineering, construction and manufacturing, Paul has earned a reputation as a leading authority in the field of HR strategy, measurement, ROI and evaluation.

    Future plans for EvaluationZone:
There's more to come! We're currently putting in place plans for EvaluationZone to become a fully accredited programme, offering the opportunity to gain a qualification in the subject, something which is almost impossible to find elsewhere.

EvaluationZone will be available on an annual subscription basis, so you can dip in and out of the resources available and discuss any problems whenever you need to - it also means there's no sitting through hours of seminars on the subject without a break! For a taster of what's on offer, see why evaluate your training and development?

To register your interest in EvaluationZone, and take advantage of the early subscribers offer of £350 for a year's access, respond by e-mail.
