Global IT Training week promoted by ITTA

default-16x9

The Information Technology Training Association (ITTA) who are based in Austin, Texas are launching an IT Training week in order to promote the value of IT education. This is to take place from the 5 - 9 February. The ITTA is a non-profit global association dedicated to Technology training.

The ITTA is the trade association for professionals and companies involved in the IT Training Industry and in 1994 merged with the International Computer Training Association and the Association of Techninal Education Centers to form the ITTA. Since that time they have been involved with professional development, business management, conferences and setting industry standards.

They provide IT training around the world, hold educational conferences and seminars and they are also the founding member of the Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) task force and planning committee. They also participate in various industry advisory committees such as CompTIA's A+ Certification and Network and advisory committee.

The reason for them promoting the IT Training week is to address the current IT skills gap within the workforce and also because they believe that there is a lack of information available to the general public about the rewards of a career in technology.

The Global IT Training week will be a campaign and virtual event that will be hosted by ITTA on the internet. By clicking on this link will provide you with further information about this event.
