Keyboard Wizard

This is a really neat gizmo for teaching basic/intermediate keyboard skills. It's a stand alone keyboard with an inbuilt small display window and a standard QWERTY keyboard and numeric pad. The keyboard is pre-programmed with seven training programmes plus a game, speed counter, accuracy tester and a number of other features. Complete with a printed manual for support, Keyboard Wizard is ideal for self-tutoring all aspects of keyboard skills.

The keyboard design is colour coded to aid users in placing their fingers in the right place. There's lots of helpful visual and audible feedback which encourages rather than discourages.

At a price of £49 per unit (with discounts for multiple purchases), this handy product allows companies to easily own one or two units and tutor new staff without tying up much more expensive computer terminals. Staff can also take them home or tutor themselves elsewhere.

As the name suggests, it's a little wizard of a product.
