Leicester Companies to benefit from LearnDirect project

default-16x9

The University for Industry has launched a pilot project at the LearnDirect centre in Leicester aimed at supporting local businesses and encouraging lifelong learning.

The Learning Works provides companies with an interactive PC, supported by virtual mentors. Employees can then access a range of courses at work. All costs for the scheme are being covered by the European Social Fund, so there's no cost involved. In order to take advantage of the scheme, companies must be based in Leicestershire, have fewer than 250 employees, have a turnover of less than £25 million and be a private limited company.

For further details, contact Natasha Atkinson at Leicestershire TEC on 0116 265 1519 or e-mail [email protected].
