Online learning versus tutor-led learning

The relative merits of technology-driven online learning compared to traditional tutor-led learning have been debated for many years. The debate extends back nearly 40 years to the time when the issue first started to emerge over distance learning methods.

Russell Thomas has compiled a fairly definitive review of the 355 research studies into the different methods which is published as No Significant Difference
