Recruitment Company CityJobs is providing free on-line training to all those people registered with them looking for new employment opportunities. Those registered are then given a learning account, e-mail, educational search facilities and internet access to over 380 courses.

The training is being provided by a company called ilearn.To and is expected to strengthen CityJobs position as an on-line recruitment agency.

CityJobs carried out their own research and from their findings they were able to highlight which IT skills were most in demand from employers who were using their services. By making on-line training available, gives the customer more opportunity for success, as by the time they have reached interview, they should have learnt the skills appropriate for that particular vacancy.

Even though iLearn are reported to be an American on-line training company, they have put a lot of effort in ensuring their products will also suit the British market.
