Technology implementation.right now we are concentrating the content preparation for various courses.
Since i am new to this area...i need your guidence regarding this.
My requirements is,what technology i can suggest to go for the Learning Maintenance System for our e-learning site.
Because if i visit any site there is branded tools for Delivering the content,Interfacing with client, and Administration .and also i will be happy if you send related reourses to take a decision regarding the Technology implemention for the above.

Thank you,

With warm regards

  1. Take a look at our website
    Hi

We have built a website http://www.bestoftraining.com which will help people such as yourselves to define their requirements when creating a learning portal environment. You can watch presentations, read and bookmark material of interest and store decisions about what you want to achieve before then getting in contact about proceeding with us or indeed another supplier.

    Hope this helps you

    Regards

    Gareth

  2. Before you look at the technology…
Before you look at the technology, be absolutely clear about your requirements.

The acquisition of an LMS will not magically deliver an eLearning system. I keep hearing about organisations who have invested, and wonder why eLearning isn’t working.

An LMS can be a tremendously powerful piece of kit, but at the end of the day it is software. Does that software met your requirements? Or are you going to have to change the way you work to suit the software?!

In setting out to establish an eLearning site the very LAST thing I would be worrying about is the LMS.

You write that you are looking at the “content preparation” – be clear, and forgive me if you already know this, but an LMS will not be helping you here!

There may well be material on this site about what LMS’s can and can’t do, but you will certainly find a good one here:
