Apply soon for City & Guilds centenary grants

default-16x9

Back in May, City & Guilds launched Future 100 to celebrate the centenary of its Royal Charter which occurs in 2000. Now the deadline for applications is approaching: they must be in by 31 October.

The scheme will share a £500,000 fund among 100 people. The grants, which range from £2,000 to £10,000, are intended to "help people to change their lives through training and education".

Anyone can apply, whether they are unemployed or a senior manager, as long as they’re over the age of 16 and not currently on a full-time education or training course.

Applying for a Future 100 grant is easy; applicants can collect a form from any branch of Superdrug, call 0845 600 5550* or go to the website at www.future100.org.uk.

Grants can be used for any career development purpose, from paying for childcare or travel while a parent studies to (in special cases) specific course fees.

Any applicant who can show that the money will be put to good use could well be one of the Future 100.
