The Training Standards Council and the Training Inspectorate are responsible for the independent inspection of Government-funded work based training delivered through English TECs/CCTEs. Since October 1999 they have also undertaken inspection of the training and education element New Deal 18-24 options.
This new webpage has been created, presumably to provide on-going information about the work of the Training Inspection Team.
As from 1 April 2001, the role and remit of the TSC/TI will be integrated into the work of the new Adult Learning Inspectorate.
