Different methods used for training IT work

default-16x9

I am currently looking at a new training schedule for a new type of work that we will be introducing within the next couple of months within my organisation. I am using this work as part of my CIPD project, I am currently doing and need to try and get some secondary information ie contact who has done this particular type of training. If anyone could help me in letting me know the way in which you have gone about this type of training I would be most grateful. Once I am able to get this information I will then be able to evaluate the best method of training.
I have done questionaires and held a meeting within my organisation but my tutor feels that I should try to attain some information from someone from a different organisation to allow me to evaluate how other organisations would run the training and whether we could improve our current practice within our organisation.

  1. Maybe I can help?
    Hi Tracey,

Been there, done it so many times the T-shirt has become a rag! Drop me an email at lyndsey (underscore) thomas1 (at) yahoo (dot) com and I might be able to help you out. I’ve worked at a number of companies with some different approaches for training both bespoke systems and good old MS Office / Windows training.

    Good luck with the project!

  2. Experience of IT Training
Hiya – I have some interesting experiences that might be useful for you to hear about – just completed several Process Change programms globally (within Cadbury Schweppes) which had a very heavy IT component. Drop me a line at [email protected] and I’ll be happy to share what I know.
