I recently designed and ran a Negotiation Course (although mine was 1.5 days long!). I provided my delegates with a planning checklist and some made up scenarios and gave them time (in small groups) to plan for their particular scenario.
They all liked this because although the scenario was made up the checklist could be used in any situation.
Along similar lines, I also gave them a long list of negotiation tactics and had them carry out a similar exercise.
