Can you help me develop a model of successful company mergers?

default-16x9

I have just finished working on my year placement with a company in the Timber Trade called Bligh Hunter, two companies Bligh Boards and Hunter Timber merged during the year. I am now back at university in my final year and I am writing my dissertation. This is a critical evaluation of the merger process, from day one to how they are now a year on. I am building a best practice model on how to merge organisation. This is really where I would like the discussion to pick up from.

Thanking you in anticipatin

Mark Edwards

    Hi Mark,

Very quickly – I think the idea of trainingzone to have this forum is great, but I’m not exactly sure of how beneficial it is in terms of lengthy replies. I have just tried posting my 1800 character reply, and do not have time, particularly on-line to prepare a precis. Perhaps when we do not have to pay for internet calls, it may be better.
