SIFT plc, the leading developer of online virtual communities, seeks a highly skilled facilitator to design and deliver a 24 hour residential team development event for its staff. Its leading products include TrainingZone, AccountingWeb, BusinessZone, EUbusiness, TravelMole, LawZone and a range of web-based technology applications.
In three years, SIFT has grown from a small core to the present 28 salaried staff engaged in management, technical, design, sales, business development, editorial and customer service functions. Staff are highly skilled, committed members of an organisation which has a flat structure, good reward systems, a flexible approach, and a reputation for innovation.
The past year has been one of very rapid growth. Next year will be busier still.
This event aims to enhance staff members motivation, build identify and loyalty to the company, develop communication across the company, and reward hard-working staff with an entertaining event. There are no (known!) hidden agendas or lurking booby-traps.
The team event will run from Friday afternoon to Saturday lunch in a residential venue within one hour’s drive of Bristol. It will occur before Christmas (final date to be decided). As you would expect for a leading player in the Training field, we have some ideas for the programme which we can share with the selected facilitator. We seek a consultant who will develop the programme and take responsibility for facilitating its delivery.
The successful consultant is likely to be
- experienced at working with high energy, high growth businesses
- confident and experienced at handing team development and communications events
- able to involve and engage all staff at all levels in the company in the event
- relaxed, yet focused in their style
