A series of six linked course programmes offered by the ASTD focusing on various aspects of performance and its relationship to training and organisational development. A series of related short articles have been posted in the community website which provide interesting background reading for those not able to participate in the programme itself. The opening article, for example, explores the difference between 'training' and 'performance'.

Amongst the questions asked is whether 'performance' is just another buzz word for existing productivity, organisational management and learning jargon.

On Wednesday evening, there is an open online discussion forum for trainers to debate these and other issues with each other.
