A time capsule of training and learning

default-16x9

Don Clark's training pages have long been one of the most valuable resources on the Web for ideas, links and resources materials. At the turn of the year he's excelled himself with this truly remarkable and comprehensive single page.

The Time Capsule page provides a wonderful summary of key ideas, players, concepts, developments and breakthroughs from throughout history in the evolution of training and development approaches. Beginning with on-the-job training and Chinese philosophy, the catalogue takes you through every development up to the present with Knowledge Management. The addition of relevant illustrations means that the page takes a long time to load completely, but it's certainly worth the wait. Each area of the time capsule is well supported with helpful links which take you into new and interesting directions. A final section on 2000 and Beyond provides yet more food for thought.

My only reservation is that once you start exploring the page, you'll be tempted to stay for hours!

Congratulations Don - in TrainingZone's view, this is a "must visit" page.
