Cyber tutoring and learning: how to tutor action learning online

default-16x9

An article by Eric Sandelands of the Canadian School of Management on the GAJAL website, explores this issue.

Abstract

Explores action learning as a challenge to classroom-based approaches to management development drawing upon experiences gained by International Management Centres (IMC). Analyses the design issues encountered by the design team of an unnamed global organization, the world's first global action learning corporate business school utilizing the Enterprise School of Management model. Compares these experiences with those of action learners globally from within IMC, the facilitators of the knowledge transfer, contextualization and creation process within the client organization. Draws from these experiences a schedule for facilitators enabling action learning to occur with online sets of managers currently being prototyped by the Canadian School of Management, an academic partner of IMC.
