DfEE’s Skills Unit database goes live

default-16x9

The SkillsUnit database, Skillsbase, was set up by the Department for Education and Employment(DfEE) in response to proposals in the 2nd report of the National Skills Task Force. Its prime aim is to improve the Labour Market Information available to Regional Development Agencies (RDAs), Learning and Skills Councils (LSCs) National Training Organisations (NTOs) and others with an interest in skill issues.

Skillsbase is one of a number of other sites falling under the umbrella of the DfEE’s overarching Website.

Access to all sites will be available from 14 June 2000 on the DfEE's overarching site here.

The individual sites can also be reached directly using the following:

A link is planned between Skillsbase and the ONS National Statistics website. Further information on this will be available later in June.
