Following the white paper on 'Learning to Succeed' and the announcement of legislation in the Queen's Speach at the opening of this parliamentary session, the DfEE has now published its prospectus for The Learning and Skills Council
David Blunkett, speaking to a business audience about the new Learning and Skills Council at 10 Downing Street said that the proposals would slash bureaucracy, put £50 million savings into front-line learning, and tackle decades of poor performance in the skills delivery system.
