The Learning and Skills Council today announced the appointment of Caroline Neville as its new Director of Policy and Development.

For the past nine years Caroline has been principal of Norwich City College, a college of further and higher education. It has recently been selected for Centre of Vocational Excellence status. A former principal of Lowestoft College, she is also currently a member of the Higher Education Funding Council for England, the Council for Industry and Higher Education and a Board member of the Association of Colleges in the Eastern Region.

Rob Wye, who has been acting as Interim Director since February, is to return to his post as Executive Director at LSC Northamptonshire.
