LeadershipZone

LeadershipZone is coming.......

Successful businesses are based around great leaders, yet according to the doyen of leadership studies, John Adair, the modern leadership industry is just not delivering the goods. Next week TrainingZone.co.uk enters the fray with a new page on site called LeadershipZone. Learn the secrets of leadership, hear how other leaders have built successful organisations, read and hear the latest thinking from key industry experts, and add your views to the leadership debate. We will also be sending out a monthly ebulletin, also called LeadershipZone, the first of which will be on 22 January.

Do you have news to share on leadership thinking? An opinion to voice? A burning question that you'd like answered? Please let us know - we'd love to hear your leadership thoughts and ideas.

Email me at [email protected]

I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards

  1. A Timely Addition
    Hi Susie!

What a great addition to TrainingZone and I look forward to it.

I don’t believe we need to loose much sleep over differentiating between leadership and management UNTIL we need to develop and/or source development for the former.

I’m New Zealand-based and an in-house Training & Development Manager. When we’ve gone to external providers in the marketplace looking for ‘leadership’ development (read EQ et al) there’s usually a real confusion and we’re offered everything but behavioural interventions.

I think the more educating and sharing this coommunity can achieve in the business-critical area of leadership and leadership development the better…

  2. Spot On
    Congratulations Susie.

What a timely introduction of something so closed to the heart of management, given the current global economic situation. As much as we would like to deny and shift the blame game, businesses cannot ignore or overlook the responsibilities they shoulder in leadership.

So when times are bad, do you cut down on your loyal subjects or do you take a paycut across. What about all those luxurious assets gaining depreciation?.

I hope the new forum will create enough dust to kick up some serious review of how leadership need to shape up to ride the storm ahead.

    Good luck.
