Learning and Performance Institute goes live

The Institute of IT Training has today relaunched as the Learning and Performance Institute.

Announcing the new institute at its Learning Live conference, chairman Donald Taylor told delegates that L&D professionals were now expected to be experts in far more than just classroom delivery and that the new institute would reflect members' changing needs.  

Taylor announced some new initiatives including the development of a skills and development roadmap for the profession which will be ready next year, collaboration with adult learning organisations and more commissioned research.

Taylor said the Learning and Performance Institute aimed to be be a modern, supportive, open institute to support L&D professionals in the 21st century.
