Editor's note
=============

Investors in People has become a well-established initiative in
the last few years, and many Training Managers now have direct
experience of the scheme. Many will remember the sheer amount
of paperwork involved in the earlier incarnations of the award -
those flags and plaques don't always bring back good memories to
those in HR given the task of 'making it work'.

This week, we spoke to a man whose passion for the positive
effects of IiP is such that he has a formal role as an ambassador
for the qualification. Find out what Harold Russell, Investors
in People programme director at Lloyds TSB has to say about why
IiP works at
https://www.trainingzone.co.uk/item/85465

Elsewhere, we look at how easy it is to adapt to training online,
as Kathleen Hopper, an experienced IT trainer describes her own
experiences of adapting her existing training skills to the new
medium.
