This article is timely as I am creating manager support guides; these are to support managers in effectively embedding any learning that their employees undertake. Our business wastes a lot of money on training because it isn't properly supported by managers - viewed as isolated events instead of processes. Whilst I have incorporated some 'brain-savvy' info, I have found a few more tidbits I'd like to incorporate from this article, and may also reference it as well. Specifically I'll be incorporating: questions for managers to ask around what participants hope to personally gain from attending the program; pacing the learning so team members have the mental space to digest the learning effectively, and incorporating reflection for them to gain lasting insights.
