 Jos Burton is the author of BE USEFUL - a self-development book that was shortlisted for the Business Book Awards 2019. He has over 30 years experience in L&D and currently works as a training consultant and executive coach specialising in leadership and organisational development.

Jos began his career working in industry with Scottish & Newcastle gaining valuable management experience across a wide range of disciplines. During this time he became responsible for training and development, and qualified as a Lecturer in Adult Education which provided for a more structured approach to L&D.

Jos then took a career move to the Hays Group. Here he worked as the Senior Training Manager covering: Management & Leadership, Business Development, Negotiation Skills, and Account Management. Jos also provided business performance coaching for individuals across diverse specialisms within the Group.

Jos then set up Ultratalent Ltd where he has designed and delivered a range of training courses for both the public sector and commercial organisations. Jos has gained valuable experience in the roll-out of extensive programmes across large global organisations as well as bespoke specialist courses tailored for individual businesses with niche requirements.
