After teaching Economics for 15 years in sixth form colleges, Mike became a freelance writer in 1990. Since then he has worked in business journalism (writing six books and contributing features for Director magazine and others), copywriting for websites and corporate clients. He offers coaching in writing and presentation skills and counts among his clients: The Open University, the BBC and NHS. In 2009, Mike formed a new company, KEYSTAGE COMPANY, which writes and produces commemorative events for clients such as town councils, universities and historical societies.
